Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services to students with visual impairments across multiple campuses.
• Manage caseload of 20-25 students, with varying degrees of visual impairment.
• Develop and implement IEP goals, using SIRAS for documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff and the Alternative Media Specialist for adaptive materials and Braille.
• Case management and service delivery within contracted hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with case management and IEPs.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Itinerant across multiple campuses within the district.
• Hours per Week: 32.5 hours.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
• Contract Duration: Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
