School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - New Orleans, LA (Feb 28th 2024 - March 9th 2025)

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students across PreK-8th grades, including some self-contained ASD students.
• Primarily treat older students (4th-8th grade) but also assist with Pre-K and K students as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to track progress and ensure students’ success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active SLP License in Louisiana.
• Prior experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: PreK-8th grade caseload, including self-contained ASD students.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, roughly 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.
