School Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pendleton, OR

Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist
School Year: 2024-2025
Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 12th Grade
Bilingual Therapies is dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching educational environment for all students. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. Our ideal candidate will be committed to helping students from Kindergarten through 12th grade develop their communication skills to their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language issues.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Oregon state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
