School Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Malden, MA

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to support the communication needs of students from Kindergarten to 12th grade? We are currently seeking a full-time SLPA to join our team in Malden, MA. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists and educators to provide quality services to students.

Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location: Malden, MA

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Conduct speech and language activities and exercises with students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student success.
• Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (hours may vary)
