Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to students with special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs to support academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive support system.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education License in New Jersey required.
• Previous school-based experience is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-12 students with diverse learning needs.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
