Join Our Team: Full-Time School-Based SPED Teacher in Riverdale, Illinois!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We’re seeking a dedicated SPED Teacher for a full-time, onsite role in Riverdale, IL. Support and inspire students in a self-contained classroom for 4th-6th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a self-contained classroom
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 Certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

Position Details:

• Classroom: 4th-6th Grade, Self-Contained
• Hours per Week: Full-time, 37.5 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year
