Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs to address academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff for student success.
• Track and assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education License in Nevada required.
• Previous school-based experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-12 students with varying learning needs.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.

• Contract Duration: Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
