We are looking for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team at Lapeer High School. This is a great opportunity to work with high school students, providing support for mental health, behavior management, and emotional regulation. Responsibilities:

Provide short-term counseling (individual and small-group) for students with mild to moderate mental health needs.
Administer behavioral health screenings and brief behavioral health assessments to assess and prioritize student needs.
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during critical moments.
Assist with behavioral health triage, integrating information to support student success.
Develop and implement treatment plans and provide appropriate referrals for students needing more intensive services.
Support Universal Screening and other school-wide initiatives for student well-being.

Qualifications:

Valid LARA Master's Licensure required.
Experience working with high school students with mental health and behavioral needs.
Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to manage emotional regulation strategies.

Position Details:

Classroom: High School (full-time).
Hours per Week: Full-Time.
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
Contract Duration: ASAP start with the option to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
