Position: School-Based Social Worker – Chicago Heights, IL (Onsite Only)

We are hiring for 3 Social Worker positions in a Special Education Coop in Chicago Heights, Illinois! Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized service plans based on IEPs.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support the curriculum and ensure student progress.
- Use available resources to bridge therapy, classroom, and home environments.
- Plan for behavioral interventions and student transitions.
- Engage with students, providing positive reinforcement and feedback.
- Effectively communicate with students, families, and the educational team.
- Maintain knowledge of student development and the impact of disabilities on students and their families.
Qualifications:
- Approved Illinois Social Worker License (LCSW or LSW) required.
- Must have PEL (Professional Educator License).
- Experience in Special Education or therapeutic settings preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago Heights.
Position Details:
- Classroom: Special Education Coop, K-12 students
- Hours per Week: 35 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: Competitive salary

- Contract Duration: ASAP to May 28, 2025, with the possibility for renewal.
