School-Based SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Position - Aurora, IL

Bilingual Therapies is looking for dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming 22/23 school year. If you are in or near Aurora, IL, this would be a great  opportunity to gather experience in the education field! 

Job Type:

  • Pay determined on experience and skill level

Requirements:

  • Master's level degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or similar field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC), will consider CF's
  • Must have SLP license for state of Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Speech Language Pathology in schools
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred 
  • All applicants are encouraged to apply. Do NOT need to be bilingual even though it is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and treat students with speech or language disorders and impairments
  • Be comfortable working with students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Quality speech-language therapy services to students according to the students’ IEPs 
  • Assess and analyze results to create reports on concerns and strengths of students' speech/articulation, fluency, and language abilities. 
  • Determine needs and design interventions with research-based practices.
  • Participate in IEP conferences and team meetings
