We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a school-based position in Burbank, Illinois. If you're passionate about providing care to students in a special education cooperative program, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference!

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and assist with feeding for students.
• Provide individual health care services for students in a cooperative program.
• Assist with lifting, toileting, and hygiene care as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' health needs are met throughout the school day.
• Ensure students’ medical records are up-to-date and follow appropriate protocols for treatment.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Previous experience in a school or special education setting is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable providing personal care (toileting, hygiene) and lifting students as necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Position Details:

• Caseload: Students in a special education cooperative program.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.

• Contract Duration: Starting December through FMLA leave duration, with potential for extension.
