School-Based Paraprofessional – Philipsburg, PA
Start Date: January – March 31st | Full-Time, Onsite

We are seeking a Paraprofessional to join a school in Philipsburg, PA, to provide support to elementary students (K-5) from January to March. This full-time position will require you to work onsite, assisting with a large caseload of students, while being supported by a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). If you have experience or a background in speech, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with classroom activities and support students (K-5) in their daily tasks.
• Provide support to students with varying needs, working closely with the teacher and virtual SLP.
• Help implement speech therapy goals as directed by the virtual SLP.
• Adapt and assist with students’ individualized plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience in speech or related field is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in a classroom setting, is a plus.

Position Details:

Classroom: Elementary K-5
Hours per Week: Full-Time, 32.5 hours per week
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Duration: January 2025 – March 31, 2025
