Paraprofessional Position – Santa Monica, California

We’re looking for a dedicated Paraprofessional to join a dynamic school team in Santa Monica, California. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic and social development, especially those with special education needs. If you have a strong behavioral background and are passionate about supporting students, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for students, especially those with special education needs.
• Assist in classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Support toileting/diapering if needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student learning and growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Strong behavioral background required.
• Must be comfortable working with the SPED population.
• Must have school experience (resume must reflect this).
• Credentialed candidates will be prioritized.
• Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with commuting.
• Open to toileting/diapering students if required.

Position Details:

• Location: Santa Monica, CA and/or Malibu, CA
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 30 hours
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 10, 2025
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
