Paraprofessional – Long-Term Substitute in St. Paul, MN

Looking to make a difference in the classroom? We’re hiring a Paraprofessional to support high school students in a resource room setting in St. Paul, MN. This long-term substitute position offers the chance to work directly with students, providing crucial instructional and classroom support. Responsibilities:

• Assist with instructional support in a high school resource room
• Provide 1:1 support to students with varying needs
• Collaborate with teachers to support students in reading, writing, and math
• Help maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of college credits (60 credits or equivalent), Associate’s Degree, or passing score on a formal assessment (demonstrating proficiency in reading, language arts, writing, and math)
• Previous experience in educational settings is preferred
• Credentialed candidates will be given preference
• Must be able to work in-person for the duration of the assignment

Position Details:

• Classroom: High School resource room
• Hours per Week: 32.5 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K
• Contract Duration: ASAP – 67 workdays (due to union rules)
• Interview Process: Conducted via Zoom for convenience
• Location: St. Paul, MN (In-person only)
