Full-Time Paraprofessional – Laconia, New Hampshire (Elementary School)

We're looking for 2 Full-Time Paraprofessionals to join our team in Laconia, New Hampshire! If you have experience supporting students with behavioral needs and autism, this is a great opportunity to make a difference. Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to students with behavioral and autism-related needs.
• Assist with academic tasks, daily routines, and behavioral management.
• Help with toileting/diapering as needed (comfort level required).
• Support students in the Special Education (SPED) population.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEP goals and behavioral plans.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to obtain Para II Certification (if not already certified).
• Strong experience with behavioral and autism-related needs.
• Comfort working 1:1 and assisting with toileting/diapering.
• Must be comfortable working with the SPED population.
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Elementary Caseload
• Hours per Week: 35 hours (7 hours per day)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: ASAP through June 19, 2025, with potential for extension.
