School-Based COTA Needed in Kerman, California

Exciting Opportunity for a School COTA in Kerman, California!
We’re looking for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Kerman, CA. This full-time, on-site role offers a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapy services to students.
• Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement IEP goals.
• Manage student caseload with varying needs across multiple sites.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed COTA in California.
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required.
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, especially with elementary-aged students.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Primarily Elementary Students (across 3 sites)
• Hours per Week: 30 hours / 4 days per week
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: 1/13/2024 – 06/06/2025, with the potential to extend.
• Caseload: 41 students, with ongoing screenings. OT supports 7 sites, with most students at 3 elementary locations.
