Virtual Special Education Teacher

Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying disabilities in a virtual classroom.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and support through live video lessons, 1:1 sessions, and engaging digital resources.
  • Collaborate remotely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to track student progress.
  • Foster an inclusive, interactive, and positive online learning environment.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License.
  • Prior experience in virtual teaching or a strong comfort level with online platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and online learning strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
