Virtual Special Education Teacher

Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying disabilities in a virtual classroom.
Provide differentiated instruction and support through live video lessons, 1:1 sessions, and engaging digital resources.
Collaborate remotely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to track student progress.
Foster an inclusive, interactive, and positive online learning environment.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License.
Prior experience in virtual teaching or a strong comfort level with online platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
Strong understanding of IEP development and online learning strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
