Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Devils Lake, North Dakota
Part-Time (5 hours per week) | Start ASAP – May 2024

We are seeking a Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support a small caseload of students in Devils Lake, ND. This part-time, remote position requires braille instruction and will focus on one primary student with a few others in the district needing support. If you're ready to make an impact and have experience working with visually impaired students, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in braille and vision-related educational support.
• Work primarily with one student, with occasional support for others in the district.
• Assess student progress and collaborate with teachers and parents for educational planning.
• Ensure effective use of materials and tools for students with visual impairments.

Qualifications:

• Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) required.
• Experience working with visually impaired students, including braille instruction.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Remote (on-site locations may vary, including Devils Lake).
• Hours per Week: 5 hours per week (1 hour daily).
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary, based on experience.

• Contract Duration: Start ASAP – May 2024, with the potential for extension.
