Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 care for a medically fragile student, including oral suctioning, G-tube feedings/medications, and administration of rescue meds for asthma and seizures.
  • Assist with hygiene needs and help with lifting from wheelchair to equipment as needed.
  • Support Physical Therapy services.
  • Ride the bus with the student as part of daily transportation.
  • Ensure the student’s safety and well-being throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active Oregon RN license.
  • Experience with medically fragile students preferred.
  • Knowledge of oral suctioning, G-tube feedings, and medication administration.
  • Ability to lift and assist with physical therapy needs.

Position Details:

  • Classroom: 1:1 with a medically fragile student
  • Hours per Week: 35 hours
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive salary based on experience
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
  • Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Onsite: Yes, this position is onsite in Coos Bay, OR.
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM
