PCA - Personal Care Aide/Paraprofessional | Chatham, PA

A school district in southern Pennsylvania is currently looking for a Paraprofessionals/Personal Care Aides for a full-time, in-person position until the end of the school year. We have a few positions available, referrals are welcome!

Essential Responsibilities:

- One-on-one or small group instruction, as outlined by the teacher
- Reinforcing behavior through the use of positive behavior support
- Aiding occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists       and adaptive physical education providers during instruction

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have the following:

• Associate Degree or higher, or
• At least two years of post-secondary education that is equivalent to at least 48 credit hours from an accredited higher education institution, or
• Credential of Competency from PA Department of Education
• First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
• Clear background check and drug test results
