Paraprofessional for a Speech Language Pathologist NEEDED near Spotsylvania County, VA

We are actively interviewing experienced Paraprofessionals that are interested in working with a Speech Language Pathologist at a local school district near Spotsylvania County, VA. 

As a contract employee, you will be paid a competitive hourly rate that includes both direct and indirect services. Weekly hours each week are also guaranteed. More details about this opening are below. 

Job Specifics: 

Para support for SLP

Full time 32.5 hours per week

Candidates should be flexible K-12

Summmary:
The Regular Paraeducator work alongside, support, and expand the programmatic and administrative duties of teachers and other professional practitioners.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist students with completion of daily work assignments
• Observe student safety
• Assist students with organizing daily assignments
• Works with small groups of students in various subject areas
• Monitor students whereabouts
• Performs other duties as assigned by the principal or designee

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Programs in a public school environment and the unique needs of students
• Multi-task
• Work cooperatively and build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
• Follow procedures as outlined by school board policy, the school principal, or designee
• Give and receive information in a professional manner
• Maintain Confidentiality at all times
