Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time position involves supervising two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) while managing a small caseload of 20-25 students. The role will require evaluations, writing evaluation reports, developing plans of care, and handling Medicaid billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support two COTAs on staff.
• Conduct evaluations and write detailed evaluation reports.
• Develop individualized plans of care for students.
• Provide direct and indirect services to a small caseload.
• Manage Medicaid billing for services rendered.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student needs.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proficiency with VAIEP and other relevant systems.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
