Introduction:
Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a passion for ELA? Join us in St. Clair Shores, MI, to support middle school students with resource room instruction. Enjoy a structured role with manageable class sizes, collaborative support, and excellent benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Teach special education ELA to middle school students.
• Deliver 4 hours of resource room instruction per day with class sizes up to 10 students.
• Provide 1 hour of prep and 1 hour of support in a collaborative science or social studies class.
• Manage a caseload of fewer than 20 students with support from a math resource teacher and teacher consultant.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsements in Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Impairment, or Emotional Impairment required.
• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
