Description:
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Crown Point, Indiana. This position focuses on supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary students
• Provide specialized instruction and support in a self-contained classroom
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure student progress
• Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• Indiana Special Education License (K-6 or Elementary Education) required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in special education preferred

Position Details:

• Classroom: Elementary Special Education
• Hours per Week: Full-Time
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary

• Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year
