Job Title: Full-Time School-Based Special Education Teacher – Carson City, Nevada

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support and instruction to students with special needs.
• Create and implement IEPs that address academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, staff, and parents.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
• Maintain an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education License in Nevada required.
• Previous school-based experience is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-12 students with diverse learning needs.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.

• Contract Duration: Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
