Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Bloomfield, NJ (Onsite)
• Grade Level: K-12
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: Current school year, with the option to extend for summer and the 2024-2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Adapt lessons to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and behavioral plans
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Special Education Certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Passion for student growth and development
