Social Worker Position – Plum, Pennsylvania
Immediate Start, Contract through End of School Year

We are currently seeking a full-time Social Worker to fill a mat leave position in Plum, Pennsylvania! This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team, working with students in grades 5-8 and making a lasting impact on their well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support to middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized interventions to meet students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create support plans for students.
• Facilitate group counseling sessions and support students with conflict resolution.
• Assess and track student progress, offering recommendations for additional services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid School Social Worker license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience working with middle school students (grades 5-8) is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Middle School (Grades 5-8).
• Hours per Week: 37.5-40 hours per week.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
• Contract Duration: ASAP through March 1st (with the potential to extend through the end of the school year).
