Job Title: School-Based Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
Location: Bothell, Washington

Are you a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter looking to support students in a school setting? We’re seeking a full-time SLI to work 1:1 with a 4th-grade student in Bothell. Enjoy a rewarding role with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package!

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for a 4th-grade student using Signing Exact English (SEE)
• Facilitate communication between the student and teachers
• Attend meetings and collaborate with educators to enhance the student’s learning experience
• Support the student across two school sites

Qualifications:

• Valid SLI certification in Washington required
• Proficiency in Signing Exact English (SEE) preferred
• Experience in educational settings is a plus

Position Details:

• Classroom: Two school sites
• Hours per Week: Full-Time
• Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year (EOSY)
• Schedule:
  • Location 1: M-F, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Weds: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM)
  • Location 2: M, T, TH, F, 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM (Willing to do all 5 days if preferred)

Weekly Pay:

• Competitive salary

Contract Duration:

• Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
