We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support students in an educational setting in Baltimore, MD. Position Details:

Role: School Social Worker
Location: Baltimore, MD (Onsite)
Caseload: 40-60 students with varying disabilities
Schedule: 10-month and 12-month contract options available
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions offered
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Current school year with the possibility of summer and 2024-2025 school year extension

Key Responsibilities:

Offer individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and behavioral needs
Develop tailored intervention strategies to promote student well-being
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to strengthen student success plans
Conduct evaluations and crisis interventions to address challenges effectively
Serve as a vital link between the school, community resources, and families

Required Qualifications:

Active Maryland LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) License
Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field
Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
