Job Title: School-Based Counselor
Location: King City, California

We are seeking a passionate School Counselor to make a difference in the lives of middle school students in King City. This is an excellent opportunity to impact student well-being while enjoying a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling support to 7th-grade students
• Manage a caseload of 276 students
• Assist in developing and implementing student support programs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) School Counseling Credential
• Experience working with middle school students preferred

Position Details:

• Classroom: 7th Grade
• Hours per Week: 32.5 hours (6.5 hours per day, 5 days a week)
• Start Date: ASAP until at least October 19, 2025, with an expectation to extend to January 31, 2025

Weekly Pay:

• Competitive salary

Contract Duration:

• Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
