Responsibilities:

• Support instructional and behavioral needs of K-2 students in a special class setting.
• Assist the teacher in managing a classroom of 10-12 students.
• Implement individual and group activities to enhance student learning.

Qualifications:

• Completion of 48 semester hours (official transcripts required), or
• Passed the New York State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS) (095).
• Note: ALST assessment option is no longer available for new applicants.

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-2 Special Class.
• Hours per Week: 35 hours.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: ASAP - June 24, 2025.
• Work Environment: On-site only.
