School-Based Occupational Therapist – Aurora, IL

We’re seeking an Occupational Therapist for a FMLA coverage position in Aurora, IL. If you’re passionate about supporting middle school students, both in regular education and self-contained classrooms, this is an excellent opportunity! You’ll work 3 days a week, providing therapy to help students with their functional and educational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to middle school students, both in regular education and self-contained classrooms.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure optimal student progress.
• Address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
• Strong understanding of functional and educational needs.

Position Details:

Classroom: Middle School (Regular Education & Self-Contained)
Hours per Week: 3 days per week (approximately 36 days)
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Duration: 01/06/2025 – 03/28/2025 (FMLA Coverage)
