Responsibilities:

• Teach 7th-grade math, creating lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
• Drive instruction using formative assessments and differentiated strategies.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with strong behavioral management.
• Support student learning through individualized instruction and active engagement.
• Collaborate with staff to create a cohesive, supportive learning experience for all students.

Qualifications:

• Active PA Teacher Certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree required for eligibility for emergency teaching permit.
• Experience teaching in urban school settings preferred.
• Strong classroom management and behavioral management skills.
• Must be able to complete all required PA clearances.

Position Details:

• Classroom: 7th grade, full-time math instruction.
• Hours per Week: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
• Contract Duration: ASAP Start - June 13, 2025, with potential to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
