Job Posting: Special Education Teacher (5 Openings)
We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to fill 5 openings for the upcoming school year. You will have the opportunity to work with either K-4 or 5-8 grade students, supporting them through individualized instruction in a collaborative and student-focused environment.
Position Overview:
- Grade Levels: K-4 or 5-8.
- Caseload: Approximately 20 students.
- Service Model: Push-in and pull-out interventions.
- Primary Areas of Focus: Reading fluency and comprehension, foundational math skills.
- Common Disabilities Served: Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Delays (DD).
Requirements:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL).
- LBS1 endorsement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized and small group instruction to students with IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive teaching practices.
- Modify and adapt lessons to address student needs in reading and math.
- Track student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction.
- Attend IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
