Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Oak Park, IL. This role involves supporting a diverse caseload of K-8th grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure student success.
• Provide direct and indirect instruction tailored to the needs of each student.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the appropriate systems.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for student achievement.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Special Education License or certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience working with K-8 students in a special education setting preferred.
