Responsibilities:

• Provide speech therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary level, with some middle and high school cases.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and collaborate with school teams.
• Provide direct therapy, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island SLP license required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Elementary, Middle, and High School settings.
• Hours per Week: Estimated 35 hours per week (Full-Time).
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
• Contract Duration: 8/28/2024 - 6/15/2025, with potential for extension for summer school or the 2024-2025 school year.
