Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama!

Are you passionate about supporting students’ communication needs? We’re looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Birmingham, AL, to join our team! This role offers variety, with a caseload spanning across different schools, and a supportive work environment to make a real impact on students' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students in a self-contained class setting.
• Work with students from preschool through high school, including elementary and middle school levels.
• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure holistic support for each student.

Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification in Alabama.
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited college/university.
• ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure required.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in special education or related services.

Position Details:

• Location: Birmingham, AL
• Caseload: Self-contained classes, across multiple schools (preschool, elementary, middle school, high school).
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 37.5 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: ASAP – June 9, 2025
