Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech therapy services to students across the district
• Assess, diagnose, and develop IEPs for students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Provide individual and group therapy for articulation, language development, and other speech needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and track student outcomes

Position Details:

• Classroom: District-wide, working with students across multiple grade levels
• Hours per Week:
  • Full-Time: 1.0 FTE (37.5 hours per week)
  • Part-Time: .8 FTE (30 hours per week)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Location: Onsite only – District-wide
• Contract Duration: Current school year, with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Valid Washington State SLP License (must be current)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CF)
  • Experience working with a school-aged population is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
