Special Education Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Southbridge, MA

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in an autism-specific classroom setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students with diverse learning needs, focusing on social, emotional, and academic development
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student
• Manage a caseload of 12 students, ensuring individualized support and monitoring progress

Qualifications:

• Special Education Certification required (must meet state requirements for Massachusetts)
• Experience working with elementary students with autism is preferred
• Must be willing to work in-person as this is a non-negotiable requirement

Position Details:

• Classroom: Autism-specific elementary classroom
• Hours per Week: 35 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

• Contract Duration: ASAP – June 17, 2025
