Special Education Teacher (Emotional Support) Position – McKeesport, Pennsylvania

We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to provide emotional support for high school students. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and academic support to students with special education needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Address both emotional and behavioral needs in a structured classroom setting.
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Special Education Certification.
• Experience working with emotional support students preferred.
• CPI Training (Crisis Prevention & Intervention) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required.

Position Details:

• Location: McKeesport, PA (onsite)
• Caseload: 3 emotional support high school students
• Hours per Week: Full-Time
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: ASAP through ESY (Extended School Year) June 5th, 2025.
