Special Education Teacher – Lawrence, KS
Start Date: ASAP | End Date: May 23, 2025 | Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student success.
• Maintain progress reports, assessments, and required documentation.
• Work with students in both resource settings and specialized classrooms.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Certification in Kansas.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience with K-12 students in special education settings is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-12, resource and specialized settings
• Hours per Week: 37.5 hours (Full-Time)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
• Contract Duration: Until May 23, 2025, with the potential to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
• On-Site Only: Position is on-site, no remote options.
