3 School-Based Special Education Teacher (Intervention Specialist) Positions – Huber Heights, OH
Start Date: 12/9/2024 | End Date: 5/30/2025 | Full-Time, Onsite

We’re looking for dedicated Intervention Specialists to join a dynamic team in Huber Heights, OH! These positions provide the opportunity to work with elementary students (K-6th grade) on a moderate to intense caseload. Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized support to elementary students (K-6th grade) with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Work with students on a resource caseload, providing both direct and indirect services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Intervention Specialist license in Ohio.
• BCI and FBI background check required (can be completed through the district if not already done).
• Substitute licenses will not be accepted for this role.

Position Details:

Classroom: K-6th grade, Moderate to Intense Caseload (2 Resource positions)
Hours per Week: 37.50 hours (8:15 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday)
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
Contract Duration: 12/9/2024 – 5/30/2025, with potential to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
