Caseload: Multiple Openings (Inclusion, Behavior Unit, Self-Contained)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
• Provide individualized support in inclusion and self-contained classrooms
• Work closely with general education teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Manage and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Support students with behavioral needs and work closely with the Behavior Unit
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education certification/license in Alabama
• Can accommodate Alternate Certification options (must be willing to enroll in school for Alternative Certification if needed)
• Experience in Special Education (preferred)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Position Details:

• Classroom: Multiple openings for Behavior Unit, 3rd-5th Grade Inclusion, PreK-3rd Grade Self-Contained
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 37.5 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
