Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students with significant cognitive disabilities.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs.
• Provide hands-on instruction in life skills and functional academics.
• Collaborate with staff to track student progress and modify approaches.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Special Education Certification required.
• Experience working with students with cognitive disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work with students in both elementary (Grades 3-5) and middle school (Grades 5-8).

• Classroom:
• 2 FTE – Elementary Life Skills (Grades 3-5)
• 1 FTE – Middle School Life Skills (Grades 5-8)
