We are hiring multiple Special Education Teachers for exciting opportunities in Birmingham, AL! These positions offer great flexibility and the chance to work in self-contained classrooms with varying age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support students in a self-contained classroom environment.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Maintain student progress records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid Alabama Professional Certificate in Special Education required.
• Must meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements or be willing to meet them.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Self-contained, flexible age groups. More details to come during the interview process.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary, based on experience.
