Paraprofessional – School-Based (Joliet, IL)

Exciting opportunity in Joliet, Illinois! We have 3 full-time openings for Paraprofessionals in an Autism program at the elementary level. You’ll work with students with mild to severe needs and be an integral part of a supportive educational team. If you're passionate about making a difference and fluent in Spanish, we want you to apply!

Responsibilities:

Provide support in a classroom with students with Autism (mild to severe needs).
Assist one-on-one with students, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized learning plans.

Qualifications:

Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to work with students with Autism and varying needs.

Position Details:

Classroom: Elementary, Autism Program.
Hours per Week: Full-Time (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.

Contract Duration:

Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
