Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Positions in Fairfield, CA
Are you a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a full-time opportunity in Fairfield, CA? We are seeking 2-3 SLPs for the 2024-2025 school year to join our team and make a positive impact on students across all grade levels. This is an excellent opportunity to work with diverse student populations in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Position Overview:
- Location: Fairfield, CA
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute embedded lunch). Start and end times may vary slightly depending on the school site (e.g., 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
- Caseload: Work with students of varying needs, including those who utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech therapy services for students with diverse communication challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the success of students.
- Participate in IEP meetings, using SEIS (Special Education Information System) to track and manage student progress.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California, or eligible for licensure.
- Experience working with students who use AAC devices and PECS is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is a plus.
