Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher – San Antonio, TX
Full-Time & Part-Time Openings | Start Date: ASAP | End Date: Current school year with an option to extend
We're looking for passionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to join a supportive team in San Antonio, TX! We have 2 openings: a Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (25 hours/week) position. If you are committed to making a difference for students with hearing impairments, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with hearing impairments (10 students for direct support).
- Offer indirect support to an additional 30 students (some virtual).
- Ensure all services align with IEPs and student needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and staff to support student success.
- For direct support, provide in-person services unless virtual support is agreed upon by parents.
- Support both in-person and virtual learning environments for students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with students with hearing impairments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both in-person and virtual learners.
Position Details:
- Classroom: K-12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Hours per Week: Full-Time (40 hours) or Part-Time (25 hours)
- Weekly Pay: Competitive salary

- Contract Duration: Current school year with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
