Middle School Special Education Teacher Needed -- Fall 2022 Semester

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for a contract position located near Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. This is an excellent school district with lots of support with wonderful colleagues and students. 

Job Type:

• Full time: 40 hours per week
• Middle School caseload; 10 students
• In person
• Fall 2022 Semester

Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelor's in Education
• Need to have prior Special Education school-based experience (Resource preferred)
• New Jersey Special Education Licensure
  • Teacher of Students with Disabilities K-12
  • Elem K-6 with Special Education
  • Teacher of Handicap
• This candidate does NOT have to be bilingual. All are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Manage a classroom of 10 students between grades 6-8
• Create lesson plans and implement them with class
• Attend IEP meetings and give input on IEP goals and progress
• Keep progress reports on students
• Contribute to the creation of PLAAFPs and present them during IEP meetings
• Work with paraprofessionals in class
