K-12 Speech-language Pathologist Oregon Immediate Start

The Speech Language Pathologist works with children who exhibit communication disorders in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and voice that adversely affect educational success. Bilingual Therapies is seeking a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to work with students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild or moderate to severe and/or multiple disorders.This position will be covering a maternity leave from November 21' to March 22' with a potential to extend contract! 
 

Your Qualifications:

Education/Certification

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from accredited college or university
  • Valid Oregon License or internship pending
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or Clinical Fellowship Pending

Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment procedures, and strategies and interventions for remediation of speech and language disorders
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience

  • At least one semester of Clinical Practicum in Public School setting preferred
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
